Created for You, by You

Created for You, by You

Hi beauties! Did you know a huge part of our product development process involves YOU?

Your feedback is integral to choosing key ingredients and colors, which ultimately helps us create products that you’ll love.

We just whipped up the final formula for our new lip lacquer, your one-step solution for all day lip color perfection. This liquid lipstick, stain and gloss was created with your help in our Thrive Causemetics Lab, located in Seattle, WA.

Now, we need your help in naming these gorgeous shades. All of our products are named after incredible women and we want YOU to nominate someone who inspires you to thrive.

In the comments below, briefly tell us about a strong woman in your life and why we should name a shade after her. Please also tell us her favorite lip shade (red, pink, coral, nude, etc.) and we may create a custom formulation just for her.

Once the shades are named, our product development team will reach out to you to fill you in on the name unveiling campaign details, along with how your nominee will be featured on our site.

Thanks for being a part of our product creation process!

Brooke Burke Thrive Causemetics Brow Liner

This beauty's purpose to empower women inspires us in more ways than one, so you can imagine our excitement when her makeup artist, Marilyn Lee Spiegel shared these gorgeous photos of Brooke wearing our Infinity Waterproof Brow Liner in Audrey.

Tightlining with Talia

Tightlining with Talia

You may have heard that using navy blue eyeliner will instantly brighten the whites of your eyes and neutralize redness. Take that tip to the next level and tightline (line your waterline) with Talia, our navy eyeliner, to get that "I slept 8 hours last night" look.

This one-step solution will open your eyes and give you fuller-looking eyelashes.

Tightlining with navy eyeliner

Simply press your top eyelashes towards your eyelid and gently line your waterline using our Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner in Talia (matte navy).

For added drama, repeat this tightlining technique on your lower lash line.

See more tightlining tips here and tell us what you think in the comments below.

How to Get Perfect Eyebrows

How to Get Perfect Eyebrows

Well-groomed eyebrows have the ability to frame your face and define your features. Beauty trends come and go, but hip-hip-hooray, bold brows are here to stay!

Even better news? Perfectly sculpted eyebrows can be achieved in three simple steps.

Perfect Eyebrows

Prep your brows by using the spoolie brush on your Infinity Waterproof Brow Liner™ to brush your eyebrow hair upward.

Line
Instantly lift your eyebrow by creating a strong line along the base of your brow.

Instant Eyebrow Lift

Define
Use a fine-tipped eyebrow pencil to create fine hairlike strokes.

Defined Eyebrows

Blend
Blend the color with spoolie brush. This essential step distributes the color evenly throughout the eyebrows.

Natural Eyebrows

Extra credit: Highlight underneath the brow using a nude matte or shimmer to create dimension.

Eyebrow Lift Before and After

Remember, eyebrows are like fingerprints, no two are the same. As a rule of thumb, it’s better to have them too close together than too far apart. Our motto is, when in doubt, don’t pluck it out.

Now repeat after us, “line, define, blend” and you’ll get perfect eyebrows every time.

How to Apply False Eyelashes Like a Professional Makeup Artist

How to Apply False Eyelashes Like a Professional Makeup Artist

If you’re having trouble keeping the ends of your faux lashes to stay in place, try wrapping your false eyelashes around your eyeliner or makeup brush prior to applying them to prevent them from popping up. This pro makeup artist trick will keep your eyelashes in place all day.

Make sure to trim your fake eyelashes prior to wrapping them around the eyeliner to ensure you get a tight curl that fits your eye shape perfectly.

If you still find the inner or outer corner of your falsies popping up, use the smudge tip on the end of your Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner to gently tap them into place.

You can also use the brush applicator on your Infinity Waterproof Lash Adhesive to apply a small amount of glue to “seal” the false eyelashes in place. Our proprietary formula dries invisibly clear, so it won’t affect the rest of your makeup.

Thrive Turquoise: How color can bring a movement to life

Thrive Turquoise: How color can bring a movement to life

The world of luxury cosmetics is comprised of chic, black packaging and for good reason. Neutral shades like black or white create the perfect canvas to highlight the gorgeous color cosmetics shades we in the beauty world work so hard to develop.

Then why, you ask, did we choose turquoise, or as we affectionately call it, #ThriveTurquoise as our brand color? The reason is beyond the obvious fact that it is a timeless and sophisticated color that plays nice with other shades like reds and pinks (it doesn’t clash with any other color!).

The color turquoise evokes feelings of serene energy, inspiration, purpose, joy and creativity. Our mission is to empower and inspire all women to thrive while helping others in need. We hope when you see turquoise, you remember how special and unique you are and that you are reminded to thrive every day!

New York Fashion Week Beauty

New York Fashion Week Beauty

The hottest trend at New York Fashion Week had nothing to do with a new "designer of the moment" or the latest pattern. It was instead the idea that even the most fashionable industry could be in need of makeover; that is, a beauty makeover.

Thrive Causemetics New York Fashion Week Models

Typically when we talk about New York Fashion Week, the first thing that comes to mind is avant garde designs and muted makeup, but this season, Thrive Causemetics shifted the focus from fashion to the face.

Thrive New York Fashion Week

Thrive hosted the inaugural New York Fashion Week beauty runway show on February 10th featuring powerful women from the beauty and fashion industry who walked in nondescript clothing, specifically, black shift dresses, to ensure all eyes were on their gorgeous glam. We tapped celebrity makeup artists Ashley Donovan, Brian Dean, Tina Turnbow and Leah Merriam to create one-of-a-kind looks, highlighting each woman’s individual beauty.

The show began with models showcasing their best facial feature: eyes, lips, and cheeks which ultimately built into a full face of makeup for our final looks of the night.

Designed by Francesco Bilotto, our interactive Giving Tree allowed guests of our Thrive New York Fashion Week beauty runway to participate in a $25,000 product donation to NY-based thrivers by writing handwritten notes of encouragement to each woman.

Best Beauty Looks: Grammys 2016

Best Beauty Looks: Grammys 2016

The Grammys are music’s biggest night and every year, stars take beauty and fashion to the next level on the red carpet. This year, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood both debuted new, chopped bobs and Zendaya’s hair paid tribute to her idol, David Bowie.

While some celebrities opt for beyond-bold-eyes and smoldering lip color (think Lady Gaga or Elle King), what really caught our eye was the consistent theme of sculpted eyebrows on the red carpet to accompany a fresh face. Demi Lovato, Kaley Cuoco and Brandy Clark all showcased their best asset: strong brows to highlight their glowing skin and natural beauty on the red carpet.

Demi Lovato Grammys 2016 Thrive Causemetics

The best part? These are all looks you can rock every day with one simple product: Infinity Waterproof Brow Liner.

Kaley Cuoco’s makeup artist Jamie Greenberg typically uses our Infinity Waterproof Brow Liner in Audrey (universal dark), but tonight she used shade Christina (universal light) to give a softer appearance frame to Kaley’s face. Our revolutionary Smart Pigments™ allow this eyebrow pencil to act like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants for your eyebrows. Smart Pigments™ act like microscopic mirrors to reflect the color around them and build the perfect brow every time.
